Info About Gold Filled

Gold-filled is made by pressure bonding several layers of solid gold to a core of high-quality jeweler’s brass using extreme heat. The gold filled used in my pieces are the industry standard of 5% solid 14k gold by weight. The result is a product that is made with thick layer of real gold making more durable and long-lasting than gold plating.  In essence, it is a great alternative to solid gold. Due to the nature of working with gold filled solder joints may be seen.
