 This hand fabricated, hammered, split shank, ring features a unique rose cut garden quartz, with intricate deep maroon inclusions.

Garden Quartz is one of over 500 different varieties of quartz that have been loved and used for centuries all over the world. The Ancient Greeks dedicated Quartz to the mother goddess of the earth Gia, revering it as a sacred and powerful element in their practices. Since the middle ages, it has been seen as a divination tool, being used to craft crystal balls as a way to peer into the future. And In Japanese culture it was called "Tama", believed to be the frozen breath of the white dragon, a sacred creature of perfection and ultimate wisdom. Because of its ability to amplify the energies of other stones, quartz is one of the most beloved and powerful gemstones to be used in spiritual practices.

Garden quartz is unique in that it contains many minerals such as hematite, feldspar and chlorite. These inclusions allow the stone to possess the combined properties of all the minerals, and they are amplified by the surrounding quartz. Because the exact make up of each piece is unique, the only way to know what your pieces strengths are is to spend time with it. However, the most common uses are for meditation, manifestation, and accessing higher consciousness.
