Tanzanite Ring

This unique ring features a hand fabricated, solid sterling, band with a 0.25 carat tanzanite suspended in the middle. This design symbolizes being on our own unique journey while staying connected to the grounding energies of the earth and the expansive energies of the universe.

Tanzanite (named after is country of origin Tanzania) was discovered by cattle herders in 1962, when lighting struck the basin at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro where sapphires were being mined, causing a brush fire. Raw tanzanite crystals appear as common brown pebbles until they are exposed to high temperatures; The fire heated the surfaced pebbles exposing the blue and violet colors of the gems, allowing their beauty to finally be appreciated. Only being found here, it makes the tanzanite one of the rarest stones ever discovered.

It is known as stone of transformation, used for letting go of old patterns and to forge a path towards higher purpose and self discovery. It has been revered as a strong stone for spiritual connections, tapping into inner wisdom, and providing a peaceful, calming energy, while on the path of spiritual growth.
